The Università Politecnica delle Marche

The Università Politecnica delle Marche(UNIVPM)  is situated in the Marche Region (area of Ancona), one of most important European industrial districts for the production of household appliances. In fact many European leader companies such as Indesit, Elica, Ariston TG, Faber, and many others, have their headquarters there. This geographical position has enabled UNIVPM to conducted a great many research projects within the household appliance field.

UNIVPM has 5 faculties, 550 professors, 12 technical Departments and 17,000 students; it also contribute to 23 academic spin-offs. The central administration of UNIVPM has a management department which supports the management of FP7 Projects.

The G.EN.ESI Project is being contributed to by the DT&M group, a research group that focuses on the definition and development of new methods and innovative software tools that support product life cycle management.
